FESCO is hiring technicians with multiple skillsets. Fire Apparatus technicians do well with mechanical backgrounds in any combination of hydraulics, brakes, pumps, welding, etc.. Ambulance techs require a strong electrical background.

FESCO is a growing 72-year-old recession-proof Emergency Vehicle Dealership selling and servicing fire apparatus and ambulances. We operate service facilities in Elkridge, MD and Ashland, VA. Both locations have excellent teams and we are growing.
Technician will work in our Elkridge HQ Service Center.

Heavy Equipment Technician Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Certification as a heavy equipment mechanic.
- Proven work experience as a medium-duty or heavy equipment mechanic.
- Extensive knowledge of various heavy and medium trucks and equipment.
- Understanding of computer testing technologies.
- Ability to lift heavy machinery.
- Good communication skills.
Medium Duty Truck experience preferred. Heavy Truck experience is a plus. ASEs & EVTs preferred. We reimburse for testing and offer an on-going bonus plan.
Compensation based on experience and aptitude. Paid vacation, paid holidays, health insurance plans, 401K, and profit-sharing. No flat rate. Must have own tools.
