HORTON EMERGENCY VEHICLES
Horton Emergency Vehicles is the leading manufacturer of custom-built ambulances. Hortons mission is to custom engineer and manufacture the safest and most reliable ambulance in the world through operational excellence.
Horton has committed itself to build the world’s safest ambulance, verified by extensive testing. Supported by a network of elite dealers such as FESCO, Horton continues to dedicate itself to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Since 1968, Horton utilized internal collaboration and customer feedback to drive innovation, introducing the best in ambulance features, benefits, and performance. But quality means much more than a well-built ambulance. For Horton, quality translates into the industry’s lowest cost of ownership. Factoring in the purchase price, maintenance costs, operating costs, up-time, life expectancy, and resale value, Horton provides a competitive, if not better lifetime cost alternative to industry competitors.
When you buy a Horton, you aren’t just buying an ambulance. You are establishing a relationship with Horton and FESCO that ensures the best service in the industry. You and your ambulance have a job to do. We are here to make sure you can perform that job to the best of your ability.
Ambulance accidents can happen in an instant, that’s why a crucial part of Horton’s DNA is safety, protecting first responders so they can perform their critical lifesaving duties. Research shows that most ambulance accident fatalities result from frontal collisions. They can turn crews into moving projectiles, causing harm to them and their patient, so we build strength and safety into every detail of our ambulances with features like the exclusive Horton Occupant Protection System™ (HOPS™) featuring MBrace™.
The newest addition to the HOPS system is MBrace, a patent-pending, advanced safety system that is the culmination of years of research, engineering, design and testing. It integrates an airbag into the best-in-class four-point retractable harness. It’s estimated that 2,000 EMS workers are injured each year in work-related motor vehicle accidents, that’s why it’s important to protect them in frontal, as well as rollover events, and HOPS featuring MBrace is the first to do both. No one else has it. Not even close.
